In July 2026, the town of Afton, Wyoming is honored to host The Wall That Heals, a traveling, three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund in Washington, D.C.
This impactful exhibit offers our community a chance to reflect, remember, and honor the more than three million Americans who served in the Vietnam War, including the over 58,000 whose names are etched into the wall. Whether you are a veteran, a family member, or a visitor seeking to understand this chapter of history, you are welcome here.

About The Wall That Heals
The Wall That Heals is a mobile exhibit operated by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF). In addition to the replica wall, the exhibit includes a mobile Education Center featuring photographs, personal stories, historical context, and artifacts left at the original memorial.
The exhibit is designed to bring the experience of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to communities across the country.

The Wall is accessible 24 hours a day, allowing visitors to experience the memorial at their own pace, including quiet moments in the early morning or evening hours.
